Samsung Galaxy Note: 5.3-inch phone with a stylus

Samsung launched the Note at IFA-the international consumer electronics fair held at Berlin. Samsung's Galaxy Note is a smartphone powered by Android Gingerbread(2.3) OS. It has a huge 5.3 inch WXGA(1280 x 800, 285 PPI) Super AMOLED HD screen, this is the largest screens Samsung has ever produced for a smartphone till date.

A 1.4 GHz Dual Core Processors runs this massive phone. The Galaxy Note comes with a Standard Li-on 2500mAh battery to keep it in action.
It is full touch and also comes with a S Pen, it is a stylus which fits in the back of the phone. S Pen specific apps like S Memo, S Planner and S Choice come preloaded on the Galaxy Note.

Samsung's TouchWiz UI comes loaded on the phone and also comes bundled with Kies Air and Samsung Apps.

It has a 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front facing camera for taking pictures and videos. The rear camera also has a LED flash. The camera software comes with different shot selection options Action Shot, Beauty, Panorama Shot, Smile Shot.
The Note is capable of recording videos at 1080p 24-30 fps and play 1080p videos at 30 fps and supports most of the formats.

The note is very thin, just 9.65mm and weighs 178g.

In network connectivity, it supports HSPA+ up to 21 Mbps. It also supports 4G LTE.
In other connectivity options Bluetooth 3.0 + HS, USB 2.0 HOST, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct.

It is equipped with lots of sensors accelerometer, digital compass, proximity, barometer and a light sensor.

It has 16GB internal memory and is expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card.

Samsung Galaxy Note has impressive specifications, but carrying a 5.3" phone with you is going to be a big issue here.
This is the perfect device for people looking for a Super AMOLED screen that is larger than Galaxy S II.
