Nokia Launches Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 At Nokia World

At Nokia World, the Finnish company showed us their first ever Windows Phone 7 handsets, the Nokia Lumia 800 and the Nokia Lumia 710. The Nokia Lumia 800 is a WP7 running sibling of the Nokia N9, where as the Nokia Lumia 710 is WP7 version of the Nokia 603. Both devices will be running on the Windows Phone 7.5 OS a.k.a Mango.

  • Camera : 5MP auto-focus camera with single LED flash;
  • Colors : White, Black, Cyan, Magenta & Yellow;
  • Connectivity Options : Wi-Fi 801.2 b/g/n; Bluetooth 2.1; A-GPS; 3.5mm headphone jack; micro-USB connector;

Both the Nokia Lumia 800 and the Nokia Lumia 710 come with Nokia Drive, Nokia Music and the MixRadio applications. Nokia Drive is the first voice-guided turn-by-turn navigation on a Windows Phone device!

Both the Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 are expected to hit stores in November with the Lumia 800 being available for pre-order now. At first the Nokia Lumia 800 will roll-out in France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK with 31 carriers and retailers. Hong Kong, India, Russia, Singapore and Taiwan will see its launch later in the year and more markets will follow their lead in early 2012.
