iBall Enters Tablet Segment with Slide

With the growing demand seen in the tablet segment, we see manufacturers competing to offer users the ultimate budget tablet. iBall recently entered the tablet space with their iBall Slide. After ZTE's Reliance 3G Tab, Beetel's Magiq and Mercury's mTab its now iBall with their Slide tablet. All above mentioned tablets fall under the budget tablet segment! iBall has chosen Hrithik Roshan to market the Slide. Now lets see what features the iBall Slide brings along with it.
To start with the iBall Slide comes with a 7-inch TFT capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 800 x 480. It also features a 1 GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor. It runs on Google's Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) version of OS. The Slide comes with stock Android 2.3 OS, no customization have been made to the User Interface thus giving you a better user experience!

The iBall Slide has a 2 MP camera that is placed on the front side of the tablet. Yes! you read it correctly, there is no rear camera on the Slide. Moving forward, the Slide comes with 8 GB of internal memory with the option of up to 32 GB expandable memory using a microSD card!
In terms of connectivity options, the Slides comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, mini HDMI port, 3.5 mm audio jack and USB OTG (on the go). There is no sim card slot, thus the tablet can be considered as a Wi-Fi only tablet. The USB OTG comes in handy here, with support for a data dongle. This means that you can use internet from your data dongle while on the move. The adapter cable is also supplied with the box.
The iBall Slide comes with a 4400 mAh battery which is capable of running the device for 6.5 hours of music playback and 5 hours with continuous video playback. The battery capacity as well as the backup is quiet superior compared to other budget tablets.
