[Alpha] Ice Cream Sandwich Ported to Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9000/GT-I9000B

Developers at XDA have been able to successfully port Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0.1) to Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9000/GT-I9000B. This port is still in its alpha stage and many basic features still don't work.

Here is a list of features that work on both devices,
  • Harware Acceleration
  • Audio
  • Touch
  • Wi-Fi (you have to do manual scan)
  • Bluetooth
  • Market
  • Contact Sync
  • Mobile Network (Data is not working, even after manually entering APN settings)

Now lets see what does not work,
  • Calendar Sync
  • GPS
  • Camera
  • Video Recorder
  • External SD

Just a week after the ICS sources were out there is already an alpha version of ICS for Galaxy S users. I'm sure pretty soon we will see a stable build will all the issues ironed out!
